Blue Ridge Counselling is a virtual somatic trauma therapy practice with a focus on general mental health and trauma healing, located in metro Vancouver, British Columbia. We serve every corner of BC, including the lower mainland, Victoria, Vancouver Island, Northern BC, The Kootenays, as well as clients in Alberta, The Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Newfoundland. As a queer and neurospicy-owned business, we specialize in therapy services tailored for 2SLGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals.
Somatic therapy is not only for individuals with trauma-related disorders like PTSD, but is beneficial also for anyone managing stress, burnout, and overwhelm. This body-based psychotherapy, known as Somatic Experiencing, enhances our capacity to engage in life, grow, and expand. The therapy process we offer is collaborative, allowing you to set the pace. My name is Camber Isaac, and I'm the owner and founder of Blue Ridge Counselling. The name Blue Ridge pays homage to the healing power of nature and marks the place where I began my journey with mental health in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Peter Levine
I am a somatic psychotherapist specializing in mental health, particularly focusing on trauma. In my therapy services, I integrate traditional western psychotherapy practices with body-based approaches.
I incorporate well-researched psychological theories into my therapy services, such as Somatic Experiencing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Heartmath biofeedback, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and the Hakomi Method. These approaches are all designed to enhance mental health through effective psychotherapy.
This refers to the use of strategies such as breathwork, nature therapy, meditation, tapping, yoga therapy, exercise, and art therapy as part of a comprehensive therapy program designed to address your mental health needs. This holistic approach may include various psychotherapy and therapy services tailored specifically for you.
I strive to create an inclusive, affirming therapeutic space where consent is always prioritized, collaboration is central, and your autonomy is respected at every step. My therapy services focus on mental health and are social-justice oriented, deeply respectful of neurodivergent individuals. I honor differences as strengths while actively addressing systemic inequities that impact mental health through effective psychotherapy.
Finding a therapist who makes you feel comfortable can be quite challenging, especially when it comes to your mental health. I understand the significance of selecting the right therapist for your needs, which is why I offer a free 20-minute consultation by phone or video. This allows you to ask questions about my therapy services and gain a clearer understanding of whether my psychotherapy approach aligns with your needs before making an appointment.
